Also known as sheep's sorrel. This plant is easy to grow, clump-forming perennial.
It has pretty shield-shaped leaves that have a strong, peppery, acidic flavour.
Add the fresh leaves to salads, sauces, soups, soft cheeses and egg dishes. Especially good in sorrel soup. Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
