This plant produces large crinkly green leaves that are highly scented with a hint of basil, cumin, cinnamon and anise. This plant will also produce small pink edible flowers. The flowers and leaves can be eaten raw, added to salads, soups, stir fries, casseroles, fish, vegetable dishes and sushi.
Plant in rich, fertile soil that is kept moist in full sun to dappled shade.
