HARDY PERENNIAL. Ht 50cm.
This plant is a dwarf, aromatic, shrubby perennial which originates from the mountains in Spain.
It produces short spikes of pale violet-blue flowers in mid-summer that look remarkably like lavender. It is an excellent plant for a rockery or a dry bank. The leaves can be used in the same way as ordinary sage. Add the leaves fresh or dried to sausages, stuffing, herb jelly, oil, vinegar, butter and pork dishes.
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun.
