This compact, slow-growing, evergreen shrub is known for its dense, small aromatic dark green leaves.
It produces creamy-white flowers in summer, followed by white berries in autumn.
Add the leaves to roast meat dishes (towards the end of cooking).
The berries can be dried and ground to use as a spice for rich-red meats. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun.
