This variety of mint has a clear, strong menthol taste and is excellent for strong peppermint tea. The leaves are a lighter green compared to black peppermint.
It is easy to grow and should be cut back regularly during the growing season.
It can be added to ice cream, sorbets, summer drinks, salads or infused in hot water to make a strong peppermint tea.
Plant in fertile soil in full sun or part shade and keep well watered.
