This variety of mint is similar to spearmint but a lot more vigorous and not as sweet.
The bright green leaves and thick stems are very aromatic, making it a great choice for culinary use.
Add the fresh leaves to iced drinks, salads, fruit salads, mint jelly and mint pulp or on peas and potatoes. It is also a great variety for making mint sauce or a strong mint tea.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
