This plant looks quite unusual and is similar to spearmint in flavour. Bearing a strong flavour, it is good in a wide variety of culinary uses.
Add the fresh leaves to peas, potatoes, mint sauce, mint jelly, mint tea, iced drinks or salads.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
