This extremely popular variety of peppermint has a strong mint chocolate scent and flavour, similar and slightly reminiscent to After Eight chocolates.
It has dark green leaves with chocolate-brown tinges and dark coloured stems.
Add the fresh leaves to puddings, cakes, cream, ice cream, chocolate sauce, iced summer drinks and salads. This mint is a particularly good dessert garnish and can also be used for making tea.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
