This plant produces aromatic dark green leaves (with a flush of purple) which have a distinctive scent of spearmint and blackcurrants.
This is an excellent variety for summer drinks and cocktails.
The leaves can also be added to teas, jellies, fruit salads, sauces and sorbets.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun to part shade. Water regularly.
