This plant is a rare strong-growing mint found in four locations in Morocco.
It has small, rounded, hairy leaves that have a mild scent and flavour.
It produces dense spikes of tiny pale purple flowers in late summer, making it ideal for flower arranging or adding to bouquets. Both flowers and leaves are edible.
Add the leaves to salads or chutneys.
Plant in fertile soil in full sun/part shade.
