The golden-yellow, aromatic leaves of this plant form a mat in winter which is good for ground cover. It is also a good choice for pots or sunny borders
It produces small pink flowers in summer that attract a wide range of pollinating insects.
Cut the plant back to the base of the flower stems once it has finished flowering. This will keep it compact.
The leaves have a warm aromatic flavour and go very well with vegetable dishes.
Plant in well-drained, dry soil in full sun/part shade.
