HARDY PERENNIAL. Ht 35-45cm.
Also known as Sweet Mace.
This plant produces long stems with clusters of white, daisy-like flowers in summer.
It is particularly good in a mixed border and should be cut back hard after flowering.
The leaves have a mild, warm, aromatic flavour and combine well with other herbs.
The chopped leaves can be used to stuff chicken, flavour soups, stews, or sprinkled on potato salads, rice and pasta dishes.
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun/part shade.
