This plant produces attractive, light purple/pink flowers in summer.
It is a very easy, trouble free plant to grow, ideal for planting in borders and containers.
It's highly aromatic/minty flavoured leaves go well with mushrooms, meat dishes, infused to make tea, salads or summer drinks.
Planted next to a path, this plant releases a wonderful aroma when you brush past it. Also great in containers on the patio.
Cut back the spent flowers to encourage more growth. Doing this will keep the plant flowering into late autumn.
Plant in fairly rich, well-drained soil in full sun.
