HARDY PERENNIAL. Ht 30cm
Lavender Blue Spear is a fragrant, dwarf variety that produces violet-blue flowers on tall,
upright stems from June to September. The flowers are bunched together more so than other varieties of this type, making a greater impact from a distance.
It is a great variety for pots or in borders.
The flowers can be crystallised, added to jams, jellies, ice cream and vinegar. The leaves can be used sparingly in salads, marinades, soups and stews.
Plant in light, sandy well-drained soil in full sun.
