The kaffir lime tree is native to tropical Asia, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. The scented leaves have a zesty lime flavour. Fresh or dried they can be added to soups, curries and fish. In warmer climates, it produces small limes. In cooler climates, this plant should be grown on a sunny windowsill or warm conservatory. These plants come in a 9cm pot and are approximately 15cm high. They will need to be grown on before the leaves can be used.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
