Also known as Dillweed. Dill improves appetite and digestion. Both seeds and leaves are widely used in cooking. It can be used as a flavouring for soup, lamb stews and grilled or boiled fish. It can add spiciness to rice dishes and combines well with white wine vinegar, to make dill vinegar. It can be added to pickled gherkins, cucumbers and cauliflowers.
Plant in any well-drained soil in part shade. Perfect windowsill plant.
