Also known as Vietnamese mint.
This herb is used widely throughout the tropics and subtropics of South and East Asia. It has a pungent lemon/lime scent and flavour with a hint of spice. This herb is always used raw as a condiment or garnish. It can be added to salads, spicy meats, vegetables, fruit and noodle soup. It is very easy to grow, however, it may need protection in winter.
Plant in rich, fertile soil in part shade.
