This evergreen plant has sweet apple-scented foliage.
It has a spreading habit and is ideal for ground cover. Unlike chamomile treneague, it will need to be trimmed from time to time and spent flower heads removed.
It has a compact habit, which is particularly good for lawns and in between paving stones. It produces double white flowers all summer. The flowers can be used fresh or dried for chamomile tea.
Plant in rich, fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny spot.
