Ht 60cm
This is a French heirloom variety that produces small crisp fruits (gherkins) used for pickling.
Each plant produces numerous fruits that are harvested at approximately 5cm long.
The fruits are at their sweetest when they are small. Left to grow on, the fruits can be used as slicing cucumbers.
The plants can be grown in a greenhouse/conservatory or outside in a sunny sheltered spot. The plants will need to grow up a support of some kind, such as a strong bamboo cane, trellis or growing frame.
Plant in rich, fertile soil in full sun.
