This variety of mint has a refreshing, pungent, limey scent and flavour.
It is said to detract harmful insects such as aphids, fleas and ants.
The aromatic leaves are dark green and quite rounded.
Add the fresh leaves to iced tea, fruit salads, salads or lemonade. It also makes a good companion to chicken and fish dishes.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
