Also known as wild bee balm and sometimes known as lemon mint. This variety produces pink/purple flowers with highly lemon scented foliage. The flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies. The flowers are edible and can be used for decorating cakes, or sprinkled over salads. The leaves can be used to flavour game, dark meats or added into tea. Plant in rich, fertile soil in part shade.
