This interesting and useful plant is a variety of celery bred for the leaves and not the stalks. It is a plant that combines the virtues of parsley and celery. It can be used as a garnish with the decorative uses of parsley but with a delicious celery flavour. The leaves can be added to soups, salads and stews. Leaves can be frozen or dried.
Plant in well-drained, fertile soil in part shade.
