Mizuna is a Japanese leafy vegetable, which can be used as a cut and come again salad leaf. Very easy to grow with a light peppery, cabbage flavour and can be picked all year round. Add the leaves raw in mixed salads or cooked and seasoned in stir-fries.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in a shady spot and pick regularly to avoid flowering.
