This variety is very fragrant and has spicy, citrus undertones that smell remarkably of mulled wine spices.
It can be added to herbal teas, summer drinks, used as a garnish on soups, pastas and salads, and goes well with dark meat dishes and stews.
Plant somewhere sheltered from the wind in rich, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
