This variety produces deep blue/ mauve flowers from early summer and will continue to flower until autumn if the flushes of flowers are deadheaded regularly.
The flowers are attractive to bees, butterflies and many other pollinating insects.
It grows in large clumps which can be divided in spring and tends to be an easy, trouble free plant to grow.
It is ideal for beds, borders, wildlife gardens and large containers.
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
