Cayenne is a popular, easy to grow pepper, which produce long, thin, hot, flavoursome fruits. The fruits turn from green to red as they mature and they can be picked at either stage. These plants will do well in containers or in the ground; however, they do need a good spell of hot weather to help them mature. A greenhouse or conservatory would be ideal for this. Plant in rich, well-drained soil in full sun and feed regularly.
