Also known as Corsican or slender borage.
This is a low growing, hardy plant which is smaller than ordinary borage.
It produces dainty, pale blue, bell-shaped flowers in summer and is a good choice for ground cover. It is also known for self seeding and spreading.
The flowers can be added to ice cubes, tossed in salads or crystallised for cake decoration.
They can be dipped in food colouring for a selection of different colours.
Plant in well-drained, light soil in full sun to part shade.
