This popular, fairly unusual variety of mint has very strong peppermint scented leaves that are mainly used for the production of menthol oil and to flavour sweets and beverages. The leaves are bright green, aromatic and very rounded. The stems are thick, upright and strong.
Add the fresh leaves to salads or to make a strong mint tea.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
