HARDY PERENNIAL. Ht 10cm.
Indian Mint (although not a true mint) is a fragrant, trailing perennial herb that does very well in hanging baskets and containers. The trailing shoots can overhang a container by up to 1 meter. Small white flowers are produced over a long period in summer.
The leaves have a very strong, pleasant scent of eucalyptus.
Add a generous amount of the fresh leaves to hot water and inhale the vapour. This will help to unblock swollen sinuses or a blocked nose.
The fresh leaves can also be added to salads, tea and summer drinks.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun/part shade.
