Lavender Pedunculata produces deep purple/ pink flowers on a long stem in summer.
It is highly aromatic with deep citrus undertones and is ideal for containers.
It will need a sheltered position away from cold winds and protected from heavy frosts.
The flowers and the colourful bracts can be added to drinks, pastries, puddings and to decorate cakes..
Cut the plant back to the bottom of the flower stems after it has finished flowering.
Plant in light, sandy, well-drained soil in full sun.
