This variety is a low growing, mat forming, creeping thyme which has small, highly aromatic, lemon scented leaves. It is said to be sweeter than traditional lemon thyme.
Add the leaves to stews, sauces, salads, pork, chicken and fish.
The leaves can be used to make a refreshing tea. Ideal for rock gardens, containers or in between paving stones and next to pathways.
Plant in poor, well-drained soil in full sun.
