This vigorous, climbing plant is popular for its leaves and high in antioxidants. The leaves make a naturally sweet, caffeine-free herbal tea with a slight, refreshing, cucumber, liquorice-like flavour.
The leaves can be used in puddings and to make tea.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in part shade. Can tolerate full sun.
