This plant produces deep blue flowers in summer. It is a fast growing, nutritious plant (native to New Guinea) that has remarkably strong mushroom flavoured leaves. High in iron, calcium, protein, vitamin A and C.
Add the leaves to salads and stir fry's towards the end of cooking to retain flavour.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil in full sun.
