This dual-purpose plant can be used as a cut and come again salad leaf. It produces clusters of pale yellow flowers in summer, followed by long seed pods with brown seeds that can be crushed to make mustard. Very easy to grow, the leaves have a peppery taste and are great in salads and stir fry dishes. They can be picked all year round.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in a shady spot.
