This plant produces pink flowers in summer. It has variegated grey/ silver leaves with a strong lemon scent and is an excellent culinary thyme. It goes particularly well with chicken dishes and salad dressing.
Add the leaves or sprigs of this plant to stews, sauces, salads, pork, chicken, fish, roast potatoes and marinades.
Plant in poor, well-drained soil in full sun.

This plant produces white flowers in summer. It is a prostrate creeping thyme that is good for ground cover, producing a thick carpet of green foliage.
It is decorative, aromatic and excellent in rockeries.

Welsh Onion

Allium fistulosum - Hardy evergreen perennial Stock Status

Also known as Japanese leek. It multiplies in clumps and can be divided every 3 years. It makes a good substitute for spring onions and can be used instead of chives. The leaves will grow back after cutting.
Add the chopped leaves as a garnish to flavour omelettes, scrambles eggs, salads, soups, soft cheeses, sour cream and grilled meats.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/ part shade.


Wild Garlic

Ht 36-45cm.
Also known as wood garlic, ransomes, ramsons, devil’s posy, onion flower, stinkplant and bears garlic.
This plant produces clusters of white flowers in spring and summer. It has large, strongly scented garlic leaves.
Pick leaves in late spring and add to salads, soups, or use as a vegetable.
Plant in fertile, moist soil in semi or full shade.
